Free tool / price your time

A quote that counts
the whole job.

Your work starts before you pick up a mop. Include the time around the cleaning, the costs of doing it, and what you want to earn.

Put your own numbers in.

Defaults are an invented example, not local prices or suggested pay. All money is in US dollars. Calculations run in your browser. Opening “Put it into a quote” includes the calculated price in the URL sent to this site; your individual inputs stay on this page.

Time on the job, including setup and packing.
There and back, including parking and loading.
Messages, quoting, scheduling, and laundry.
Your goal before personal taxes. Not a market rate.
Products, laundry, and consumables for this visit.
Your estimate for vehicle use, parking, or transit.
Allocate recurring costs, fees, and equipment wear.

Every part of the price is visible.

Starting quote = (cleaning + round-trip travel + other job hours) × target hourly pay + supplies + travel costs + allocated overhead.

In the example, 4 total hours × $30 + $25 in costs = $145. A three-hour cleaning job that also needs an hour of travel and admin is four hours of your time.

Use the result as a starting point.

This tool calculates from your assumptions. It does not measure the home, estimate local demand, include sales tax, calculate income tax, or add a separate profit margin. Your target pay is compensation for your own time, before personal taxes. A zero target or cost is allowed when intentional; it does not mean your business is sustainable.

Confirm the scope and condition before committing. Check actual costs and time after the visit. If the work takes longer than expected, the same price gives you less pay per hour. Adjust your next estimate using what you learned.
